Arizona Sustainability Alliance - Tree Steward Cohort Opportunity

Seeking Postdoctoral Researcher in Science-Policy Engagement and Climate Futures

NASA's Psyche creative internship open to undergrads of all majors

NASA's Psyche Inspired creative arts internship for 26-27 is open to full-time undergraduates in all majors at U.S. universities and community colleges. Selected interns become virtual creatives-in-residence, creating four original works that communicate the Psyche mission’s science and engineering to the public. Apply by Aug. 28.

Leah Gerber Publishes New Research on Shark Conservation

Leah Gerber, Founding Director of the Center for Biodiversity Outcomes is lead author of a new publication in Conservation and Practice. The paper, Examining the efficiency of a sanctuary to protect sharks in the Galapagos Marine Reserve, examines conservations strategies for sharks in the Galápagos and is co-authored by two recent ASU PhD graduates.

Sloan Research Fellowships (Opportunity Kick Off)

NSF Renews STEPS Center to Advance Phosphorus Sustainability Research

A $22 million National Science Foundation renewal will allow the Science and Technologies for Phosphorus Sustainability (STEPS) Center to continue advancing interdisciplinary phosphorus sustainability research while training the next generation of scientists. The award builds on its initial $25 million investment and includes leadership from multiple ASU Researchers.
