ASU students impact Arizona communities through design innovations

Project Cities was recently featured on ASU News, highlighting two award-winning projects from the spring 2024 semester. Students from the Master of Urban and Environmental Planning (MUEP) are the recipients of two awards for projects completed with the City of Chandler and Town of Miami. Awards included:

  • The Western Planner Award for Best Student Project: City of Chandler team. Awarded Aug. 8 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
  • American Planning Association, Arizona chapter, for Student Planning Project: Town of Miami team. Awarded Sept. 19 in Tucson, Arizona.
