ASU's School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment is hosting the Mining Innovation Monthly Seminar Series for 2026-2027 academic year. Last year the series hosted 11 speakers, and more than 1,000 participants, both in-person and online, from mining companies, academia, state agencies, and other related sectors. The series also reached an international audience, with participants joining from Canada, Peru, Indonesia, and Australia. With hope to continue expanding the reach and impact of the seminar series this year.
This year, each seminar will feature two speakers and will run from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm. The first talk will be from 11:00 to 11:45 am, followed by a short lunch break, and the second talk will be from 12:00 to 12:45 pm. After each seminar, we will offer a tour of one of ASU’s facilities or laboratories for in-person participants who are interested.
The seminar will be offered both in person and virtually via Zoom. All participants are requested to complete the RSVP form and indicate whether they plan to attend in person or online, as well as whether they are interested in joining the lab tour after the seminar.
