Oslo Metropolitan University, Oslo Business School, is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in Science-Policy Engagement and Climate Futures to join the ERC-funded CAMELOT project, led by Manjana Milkoreit - former ASU postdoc. The project examines how individuals, institutions and societies develop the capacity to anticipate and respond to long-term climate risks, including climate tipping points.
The researcher will help design, implement and evaluate science-policy engagement processes involving climate modeling, role-play simulations, future storytelling and participatory workshops. The work will involve collaboration with policymakers and public institutions across multiple European governance contexts, using surveys, interviews, participant observation and qualitative analysis.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field and experience with participatory research, stakeholder engagement and qualitative analysis. Experience with mixed methods, participatory futures or foresight, interdisciplinary research, and climate or sustainability topics is an advantage.
The position is full-time and based at OsloMet in Oslo, Norway. It is offered for three years, with the possibility of a fourth year. The salary range is NOK 584,500–745,000 per year.
