Arizona Forward is accepting applications for the next Emerging Sustainability Leaders cohort, a professional development program designed to prepare early-career professionals to lead on Arizona's sustainability challenges. The program combines leadership development, networking, and collaboration with professionals from across sectors.
Over the past nine years, the program has supported emerging leaders working on issues such as water, energy, resilience, and economic development. Participants build leadership skills while expanding professional networks and gaining exposure to sustainability challenges and solutions across Arizona.
Several ASU faculty and staff have participated in recent years and have consistently described the program as a worthwhile professional development opportunity.
Faculty and staff are encouraged to share this opportunity with early-career colleagues, postdoctoral scholars, graduate students approaching the workforce, and other emerging professionals who have demonstrated initiative and an interest in sustainability leadership. A recommendation or personal encouragement to apply may help identify future leaders in the field.
