The Pew Charitable Trusts is recruiting a Senior Associate, Civic Science Fellow to support the Evidence Project and the Presidents and Chancellors Council on Public Impact Research. This fellowship offers an opportunity for an emerging leader to help strengthen the connection between research, higher education, and societal impact.
Working with the Council, the fellow will help expand university engagement in research that serves the public. Responsibilities include supporting initiatives that encourage institutions to:
- Broaden incentives for public impact research.
- Strengthen partnerships between researchers and communities.
- Increase institutional responsiveness to public needs.
- Measure and document the real-world impact of research.
The fellow will also join the national Civic Science Fellows cohort, a community of emerging leaders exploring innovative ways to strengthen collaboration between scientific institutions and the public.
