ARIA funding opportunity: Acclerated Adaptation

This £54M programme from the UK’s Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) funds interdisciplinary teams to develop approaches that accelerate adaptation in wild species and strengthen ecosystem resilience. Projects may focus on systems demonstrations, ecosystem modelling, data/analytics, or ethics/governance. Concept papers are optional, but full proposals are required.

Apply by May 1.

There are several Resources under the Funding Page, including a webinar video and FAQs, as well as the Call for Proposals.
ARIA is like the US agencies DARPA, IARPA, ARPA-H, ARPA-E, but in the United Kingdom. You can propose from outside the UK as long as there is some tie back to impacts in the UK. ASU has a plan to meet this requirement with our partners in the UK.
