UIDP is pleased to share a promising funding opportunity with our U.S. member universities. The Allen Family has announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) for U.S.-based nonprofit organizations—including public and private colleges and universities—working to accelerate implementation of Natural Climate Solutions (NCS) through science and technology. NCS offer immediate, evidence-based approaches to mitigating climate change but face barriers to large-scale deployment. This call seeks multidisciplinary teams of scientists, practitioners, and stakeholders to co-develop, test, and deploy solutions that overcome technical, social, economic, and regulatory obstacles to NCS implementation.

- Funding available: $10 million total for 6–7 projects (up to 3 years each)
