Bea Rodriguez-Fransen has been hired as an assistant research professor to support the Principled Innovation Infrastructure for Discovery and Engagement (PrIIDE) Initiative, launched in January 2025 with funding from Principled Innovation at ASU. The announcement was made by David Guston, Associate Vice Provost and Foundation Professor in the School for the Future of Innovation in Society within the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory.

A decolonial futurist and published author, Rodriguez-Fransen brings over two decades of leadership experience across higher education, government, nonprofit, and innovation sectors, and was recognized nationally as a 2024 TED Speaker

Says Guston: "By hiring Rodriguez-Fransen, the PrIIDE Initiative adds leadership and capacity to its ability to offer foresight and anticipation services to large-scale ASU research proposals and university initiatives."
