Conservation Innovation Lab PhD candidate Caitlin Hawley co-authored a new paper about improving LGBTQ+ student experiences and religious students’ content comprehension in an animal behavior and biology course. This research suggests that even minor course modifications at the collegiate level can both improve the sense of belonging in STEM and content comprehension for certain groups.
