The virtual and in-person meeting brought together leading Valley experts in cardiology and primary care for an in-depth discussion on the emerging issue requires new models of diagnosis, disease staging, and therapy. The complex underlying molecular biology and multi-organ effects do not exist within traditional hospital departments, requiring the integration of specialty expertise in cardiology, imaging, pathology, neurology, gastroenterology, interventional cardiology, and genetics.

This event was supported by a grant from the Arizona Biomedical Research Centre and hosted by  The Institute for Future Health, a collaboration between Arizona State University and the University of Arizona.
